"A" Space A cold, dark, all expanding void, filled with stars and strange planets, the Outer World known as "A" Space is by far the most mysterious of the Outer Worlds. Partially due to its nature making exploring the place incredibly difficult without proper equipment, as the vacuum of space spells death to anyone stepping in. The residence of this world are another reason to give the Duel World pause. "A" Space is just teeming with alien life, with beings that seem to defy all logic, and not in the whimsical way Toon World does. There has been evidence that these beings are intelligent, but that intelligence is just so alien to the Duel World it is almost frightening. At least with Dark World, you knew what to expect. But were these beings even aware of concepts such as good or evil? To this day, "A" Space has remained a place both of intense curiosity and of fear. There are those that wish to explore, to study, but there's no denying the dangers that lie in this world. As such, "A" Space has been closed off, unless permission has been granted. Population It's uncertain just how many live within "A" Space. The world is so vast and many reaches have yet to be explored. What is known is that all that live there have shown to be distinctly alien compared to the people of the Duel World. Government There does not appear to be any form of unified government within "A" Space. If there is any government or anything within this vast void, than nobody has come across it yet. Factions & Organizations It's hard to determine just if there are any particular Factions in "A" Space. Sure, scientists have uncovered different groups of alien life, such as the Worms and the Graydl, but it's yet to be determined if they have any further functionality outside of being grouped together. Relations The Duel World's relationship with "A" Space is one of both curiosity and fear. On one hand, scholars would love to learn more of this strange world and the lifeforms within. Especially since many can be summoned by duelists. On the other hand, there's no denying the danger it poses. As such, travel to "A" Space is restricted without special permission. It's also hard to gage how the alien inhabitants view the Duel World. Are they friendly? Hostile? Are they just as scared of them, or are thry indiferent. Many detractors have pointed out some of the more hostile elements within the Outer World's populace, and constantly fear the day these alien lifeforms decide to invade. |
