Toon World A truly bizarre world by any stretch of the imagination. A world seemingly confined to a giant book, rather than a planet. Toon World is home to the toons. Strange, whimsical beings that seem to exist outside the laws of reality, or common sense. There seems to be little to no rhyme or reason within Toon World. Physics only seem to be a suggestion, rather than law, and things that would normally kill a person are nothing but inconveniences. This strangeness seems to even apply to visitors to Toon World, but Toons seem to have this effect constantly, even outside of Toon World. The Toons themselves are a strange, and highly chaotic race. While there are very few that are actually malicious, their 'act before they think' tendencies make them highly dangerous to be around. Curiously, many toons are caricatures of entities within the Duel World, something that has intrigued scholars. There are many questions about Toon World, but the real question is if anyone is brave enough to seek the answers. Population Toon World's population seems to be in a constant state of flyx. New toons just pop into existence all the time (nobody knows how, if toons reproduce or anything), while others disappear for long stretches of time. By this point, most folks have given up on figuring out just how many there are. Government The toons often mention of a Toon King, ruling over Toon World. But so far, nobody has ever been able to meet them. There have been decrees and such, but no actual physical appearance. Many wonder if the king exists at all. Factions & Organizations There does not appear to be any particular factions within Toon World. Instead, the toons all share a sense of comraditty with eachother. Mess with one toon, and you'll get a lot of them angry with you. Dealing with a happy toon is hard enough. Angry toons are a nightmare. Relations Most of the Duel World regards Toon World, and toons in general, as essentially walking powder kegs. Something to be very, very careful around. While they acknowledge that toons aren't themselves evil, they recognize just how dangerous their chaotic nature is. As such, most people give toons a wide birth, though this doesn't stop some folks (such as Pandemonium and Thunder City) from trying to use thrm for their own purposes. The toons, meanwhile, see the Duel World as a fun place to go and hang out. For the most part, they don't seem to recognize the fear they induce in people. Really, they are just a fun loving bunch that are happy to make friends, and don't really know when to stop. |
